Welcome to Year 2’s page!

In Year 2, we have Ms Russell as class teacher and Mrs Begum and Miss Acheampomaa to support our learning. At Barn Croft Primary School, we value celebrating differences and in Year 2, we strive to grow the love of inclusivity. Our curriculum includes core subjects, phonics, English, reading and maths as well as cross-curricular topics. We explore our local area as ‘Street Detectives’, get our groove on with ‘Beat Band Boogie’, imagine sailing the high seas in ‘Land Ahoy!’ and so much more! During different seasons, we grow fruits and vegetables in our allotment, look after our wildlife area in school and explore our forest in St James Park.
