West Walthamstow Partnership

West Walthamstow Partnership (WWP) was formed in 2018 by the Head Teachers of five local schools – three primary and two secondary: Stoneydown Primary, Coppermill Primary, Barn Croft Primary, Willowfield Secondary and Kelmscott Secondary. We have since been joined by the FANS alliance of Low Hall Nursery School and Church Hill Nursery School. 

The partnership shows our commitment to working alongside each other, rather than in competition, for the benefit of our pupils, our staff and our families. All schools are fully committed to providing our pupils with a rounded curriculum and to serving our local communities.

To date we have:

• set up networks for safeguarding leads, school business managers, governors and subject leaders
• delivered a series of annual joint whole-day INSET on developing vocabulary, maths and wellbeing, which involved all teachers from each of the schools working together
• devised inter-school curriculum projects
• increase transition support for pupils heading to Secondary School
