Welcome to Year 1’s class page!

We are extremely lucky to have two teachers to support our learning, they are Ms. Lewis and Mrs Anslow. We strive to make learning as much fun as possible and to instil in all of the children a love of coming to school.

We cover all of the core subjects such as maths, reading and phonics throughout the morning as well as cross-curricular topics across the afternoon. We can be found dressed as a ‘Superhero’ hunting out villains hidden around school or hunting fossils for our topic of ‘Dinosaurs’ and so much more.

Our class is filled with wonderful children who try their best every day. In Year 1 we are really lucky to also have Ms Stoddart and supporting our learning and wellbeing. Please have a look below for further information about our learning and activities in Year 1.
